Warming Up for an Autumn Challenge

The weather is getting colder, but 7 members of the Salesmade team are warming up. They have exactly 7 weeks to get race-ready for the Bierton 10K! Will they make it? Although Aaron, Wendy and Jason are keen runners, Josh, Ian, Tevin, Jake and Cornel are starting from scratch. They’ve bitten the bullet and embarked on an intense Couch to 10k programme.

What’s the Motivation?

Run, walk or crawl, we’re all determined to pass the finish line and not just for a sense of achievement. Our mission is to raise funds for local Aylesbury charity, Youth Concern.

This long-standing local charity offers drop-in activities, practical support, counselling and homelessness action for young people aged 13-25 years. The dedicated team have helped thousands of individuals feel valued, recognise their strengths and navigate their transition from childhood to adulthood. And, guided to the right path, many have shown incredible determination to beat the odds and achieve great things. We want to channel that mindset and prove that anything is possible.

Our decision to fundraise for this charity was through our connections with Aylesbury United. Youth Concern has been selected as their charity partner and we agree that they are a worthy cause. We’d be delighted if you could sponsor us so they can be rewarded for our efforts.

Kitted Out for Success

Entry fees have been paid by the company and our team have been presented with Salesmade & Youth Concern printed running tops. Give them a cheer of encouragement if you spot them out training!

We’ll be at Bierton Recreation Ground on Sunday 17 November for the 11am kick off. Let’s hope the training pays off and we all receive the Finishers medal!

Best of luck to everyone else entering this local race.
